we are pleased to announce that the RepOD Open Data Repository, of which the NCU Research Data Repository is a part, received the prestigious CoreTrustSeal certificate in May 2025. The document confirms the highest standard of security and availability of research data. 

The CoreTrustSeal certificate guarantees that the data deposited in the repository is disseminated according to clearly defined rules and that the infrastructure used to store it is stable and secure. As part of the certification process, the repository is assessed for its compliance with sixteen requirements, including security standards and service interoperability.

The RepOD Open Data Repository thus meets the criteria for trusted data repositories recommended by research funding institutions, such as the National Science Centre and the European Commission, for depositing the results of publicly funded research.
